Burren Pub in Somerville Hosting St. Patrick's Day Artist Market on March 12



The Burren Pub in Davis Square, Somerville, famous for its stellar Irish traditional music, is hosting a St. Patrick's Day artists market on Saturday, March 12, 2011, from noon to 4:00 p.m.

Organized by Saturday Local Artist Market (SLAM), the event features the finest work of local artists, painters, jewelry makers, photographers and craftsman.  For a list of artists attending, click here.

The Burren is celebrating its 15th anniversary in 2011 as one of America's best Irish traditional music pubs.  It was founded by two musicians - fiddler Tommy McCarthy and Louise Costello, banjo/accordionist , in 1996.
