Peace Corps Volunteers Gather at John F. Kennedy Library to Celebrate 50th Anniversary on March 3




The John F. Kennedy Presidential Library & Museum is holding a forum to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the founding of the Peace Corps, this Thursday, March 3, 20011, from 5:30 to 7::30 p.m.

Former Peace Corps volunteers Sarah Chayes, Chris Dodd, Elaine Jones, Joe Kennedy III and Paul Theroux share their memories of serving and discuss  how their experiences changed their lives. Stanley Meisler, author of When the World Calls: The Inside Story of the Peace Corps and Its First Fifty Years, moderates.
