Stones in His Pockets , an Irish comedy by Northern Ireland playwright Marie Jones , is running at the Lyric Stage Company of Boston from February 15 through March 16, 2013. Tickets to the shows are available online or by calling 617 585-5678. Stones in His Pockets is the story of a rural Irish village turned upside down by the arrival of an American film crew.  It ran for three years in London's West End and earned three Tony nominations. Irish Traditional Music Trio Performing at Boston College on February 12

An Irish traditional music trio - consisting of Kathleen Conneely on tin whistle, Dan Gurney on button accordion and Eamon O'Leary on guitar and vocals - performs at the Gaelic Roots Irish Music series at Boston College on Tuesday, February 12, 2013 from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. The concert takes place at Gasson Hall's Irish Room on BC's Chestnut Hill campus.  It is free and open to the public. The Gaelic Roots program is run by master fiddler, composer and educator Seamus Connolly , who is the Sullivan Artist in Residence at Boston College. Burren Pub in Davis Square, Somerville is hosting Saturday Local Artist Market on February 2

The Burren Pub in Davis Square, Somerville is hosting the monthly artists market on Saturday, February 2, 2013 from noon to 4:00 p.m.   The Saturday Local Artist Market is free and open to the public, and features a number of local artists working in sculpture, painting, photography and ceramics as well as artisan foods. The Burren is also offering $5 lunch specials through the afternoon.
