BC Gaelic Roots Concert with McAuley & Fraser Contrasts Irish and Cape Breton Fiddle Styles



The Gaelic Roots concert series at Boston College is hosting a concert showcasing two distinct fiddle styles of Oisin McAuley of Donegal, Ireland and Kimberley Fraser of Cape Breton, Nova Scotia on Thursday, November 13, 2014.

The concert, which is open and free to the public, takes place from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at the Cadigan Alumni Center at 2117 Commonwealth Avenue in Brighton.  Here are directions.  

The Gaelic Roots Music, Song, Dance, Workshop & Lecture Series was created and developed by Seamus Connolly, champion Irish fiddler, composer, teacher and music researcher.
