Irish Music Faculty and Students at Boston College Perform Free Concert on February 25


Sheila Falls Keohane

Music teachers from the Boston College Gaelic Roots program will perform with their students in a free concert from 6:30-7:30 p.m. on Thursday, February 25, 2016 at the Connolly House on Hammond Street in Chestnut Hill.

The concert is free and  open to the public.  Music teachers include fiddler Sheila Falls Keohane, flutist Jimmy Noonan, and Irish dancer Kieran Jordan.

Sheila Falls Keohane is the Interim Director of BC's Gaelic Roots Music, Song, Dance Workshop and Lecture Series, which was started by Irish fiddle champion Seamus Connolly in 1991.

Gaelic Roots is part of the Center for Irish Programs,which also includes the Irish Studies Department, John J. Burns Library's Irish Collection, the Irish Institute, and the Boston College Ireland program based in Dublin.
