Boston Celtic Music Festival Takes Place in Harvard Square on January 8-9


The 13th annual Boston Celtic Music Festival is taking place on Saturday ad Sunday, January 8-9, 2016 at Club Passim and other venues in Harvard Square in Cambridge, Massachusetts. 

The festival features the music, song and dance from Irish, Scottish, Cape Breton and other Celtic-related traditions.  In addition to concerts, workshops and ceili dancing, the BCMFest also includes a dayfest of children and family entertainment on Saturday.   

  
Performers confirmed to appear at the festival include: Lindsay Straw; Nathan Gourley, Laura Fedderson and John CoyneJoe Deleaut; Fresh Haggis; Nancy Bell; Scottish Fish; Realta Geala; Elizabeth and Ben Anderson; the Friends of Kyte MacKillop; Mari Black; Gus LaCasse; Buttons and Keys; Molly Pinto Madigan; Fellswater; Royal Scottish Country Dance Society of Boston; Oran Mor; Soulsha; The Kelly Girls; Jigs and Saws; Kieran Jordan; Colleen White and Sean Smith; After the Morning; Liz and Dan Faiella; Corsa; The Rushy Mountaineers; Caroline O’Shea and Tim Buckley; and Highland Dance Boston. 

Passim’s School of Music will once again offer a series of classes taught by festival performers on Saturday as part of BCMFest.
