Ray Flynn , former mayor of Boston and ambassador to the Vatican, discussed this year's Boston mayoral contest with television host Jim Braude on NECN on Tuesday, October 29, 2013. Flynn referred to himself as a "social and economic justice Democrat" when discussing his political philosophy and the importance of jobs in Boston's neighborhoods.
