MEDIAEVAL BAEBES PERFORM AT BLACKSTONE RIVER THEATRE ON SEPTEMBER 15


Blackstone River Theatre is kicking off its fall season on Saturday, September 15 with a concert by The Mediaeval Baebes, a popular female singing group whose version of “Alleluia” is featured on the hit PBS series Victoria.  

Tickets are $28 in advance by calling 401-725-9272, or $32 the night of the performance.

Using lyrics from mediaeval and romantic texts and setting them to original scores using medieval and folk instruments, the group presents an amazing traditional show that captivates audiences around the world. The Baebes sing in a variety of medieval languages including French, Spanish, English, Italian, Gaelic, and Swedish.
