Summer Solstice Festival on Saturday, June 15 Features Top Celtic & New England Music & Dance



Blackstone River Theatre' Annual Summer Solstice Festival is taking place from 11 a.m to 7 p.m. on Saturday, June 15 at Diamond Hill Park in Cumberland, RI.

The festival has four stages of continuous Celtic and world music, plus Irish step dance, face painting and 45 craft & food vendors.  Tickets are $15 adults, $13 seniors, $5 children, under-5 free!  Buy Tickets online.

This year's visiting artists include Kevin Crawford, Cillian Vallely & Patrick Doocey from the Irish traditional ensemble  LĂșnasa;  HighTime from Connemara, Galwaly; La CroisĂ©e D’Antan from Quebec and Bonnie Milner and Dan Milner from New York.

Top New England performers include Atwater-Donnelly Trio, The Hanneke Cassel Band, the Eastern Medicine Singers, The Gnomes, Partington & Sweeney, Roscommon Soles featuring Kevin Doyle with Sheila Falls, Josh Kane, Owen Marshall, Torrin Ryan, and The Vox Hunters. 

In addition, check out the  session tent run by Bob Drouin and a dedicated stage for Irish step dance featuring Tir Na Nog Irish Dance.
