Annual Milton Music Festival Runs June 25 & 26 at Governor Hutchinson's Field in Milton, MA




The Annual Milton Music Festival is taking place on the weekend of June 25-26, 2022 in the town of Milton, just outside of Boston.   The free, two-day festival is organized each year by We Are Milton, and showcases local performers, vendors and small businesses.

The festival takes place at Governor Hutchinson's Field on Adams Street, overlooking Boston Harbor.  Parking is limited and there are shuttle buses available from nearby, as well as wheelchair accessible coaches.  See website for more details.

On Saturday, June 25, the festival opens at 4 p.m. with live performances starting at  6 p.m. including Pauline Wells and her All-Female Band and funk and rock band Booty Vortex.  Fireworks cap the evening starting at 9:45 p.m.

Sunday, June 26 is devoted to Celtic music beginning at Noon and ending at 8 p.m..  This year's performers features NYC band Celtic Cross, and local favorites including DJ Bobby Brooks, The Fenian Sons, Erin's Melody, Sean & Caroline Brennan and the Skiffs, Curragh's Fancy, the Strawberry Hill Band and Danny Gil & the Ole Brigade. 

Among the children's activities are the Huge Sandbox and the Big Slide.  Food and drink vendors include Deans Concession, Shabby Gourmet Fresh Squeeze Juices and Fruit Bowls, Minuteman Kettle Corn & Hot Dogs, Dylan & Pete's Ice Cream truck, plus beer, wine, pizza and more. 

The Milton Music Fest started in 2013, inspired by the celebrations Milton's 250th anniversary held in 2012. A small group formed to present a yearly music and fireworks festival at Hutchinson's Field in Milton MA to kick off the summer.
