Ten Bostonians Selected for Annual Business 100 Awards by Irish America Magazine in New York

Congratulations to the recipients of the 2024 Irish and Irish-American Business 100, selected annually by Irish America Magazine, a national publication based in New York City. An event honoring the recipients was held on Monday, December 16, 2024 at the Metropolitan Club near Central Park. The magazine's co-publishers, Niall O'Dowd and Patricia Harty, served as masters of ceremony, and Mary Cucinell, VP of marketing and operations, organized the evening events for more than 300 guests, who came from across the US and from Ireland. Keynote speakers were Managing Director and Head of Abbey Capital (US) Helen Doody and Vice President of BNY Global Financial Services Brian Ruane.
Ten business leaders from greater Boston were represented in the Business 100 in 2024, including:

Mike and Colette Quinlin, who founded Boston Irish Tourism Association (BITA) in 2000, were recognized for their ongoing success in marketing Irish cultural organizations, special events and retail businesses though the region's tourism industry, and for strengthening year-round travel between Boston and Ireland. The company celebrates its 25th anniversary in 2025.
BITA works with more than 50 travel and tourism partners in the New England market, including Tourism Ireland, Aer Lingus, Delta, Discover Newport, Discover Quincy, Merrimack Valley Chamber of Commerce, Massport, John F. Kennedy Library in Boston, John F. Kennedy Hyannis Museum on Cape Cod, Rockport Music, the Irish Cultural Centre of Greater Boston, the Irish America Partnership and the Holyoke St. Patrick's Parade.
BITA's magazine, Travel & Culture, is published three times a year and distributed at dozens of visitor centers, museums, retail shops and cultural venues, and its website, irishboston.org, is a year-round portal for visitors seeking travel ideas for visiting New England and Ireland.
