Boston Irish Parades, Heritage and Cultural Events in March 2011


(Boston) -- Today the Boston Irish Tourism Association (BITA) and Massachusetts state tourism officials released a schedule of the 2011 St. Patrick's Day parades and cultural events planned this March in cities and towns across Massachusetts.

 
Among the highlights: 
Nearly 24% of all Massachusetts residents claim Irish ancestry, according to the US Census, making it the most Irish state in the nation.
