Irish Pubs and Hotel Bars Get Ready for the Beer Summit in Boston on January 20-21

The Beer Summit Winter Jubilee is coming to Boston on Friday, January 20 and Saturday, January 21, 2012, to celebrate and pour over specialty beers from 66 brewers.  The event attracts master brewers and connoisseur beer drinkers from around the country.

Participants are expected to check out some of greater Boston's popular Irish pubs and hotel bars during their visit, including famous Irish pubs like the Black Rose, Four Green Fields and Burren Pub, and classic hotel bars like the Last Hurrah at the Omni Parker House, Cuff's at Back Bay Hotel, and Tamos at Seaport Boston Hotel.

General Edward L. Logan (1875-1939), namesake of Boston’s Logan International Airport , died on July 6 1939 from a sudden 'heart ailment.'  His brother, Reverend Leo J. An event honoring the recipients was held on Monday, December 16, 2024 at the Metropolitan Club near Central Park. The Kip Tiernan Memorial is located in Boston's Back Bay on Dartmouth Street between Newbury and Boylston streets, next to Old South Church, and honors her relentless fight for economic and social justice, and her special attention to helping homeless women.
