Rhode Island Commemorates 100th Anniversary of Ireland's 1916 Easter Rising

The Blackstone River Theatre in Cumberland, RI is hosting the Commemoration of the 100th Anniversary of Ireland's 1916 Rising from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. on Monday, March 28, 2016.

Among the performers are Pendragon, Bridget Fitzgerald, Jim McGetrick and others.

Proceeds go to the 1916 Easter Rising Monument being unveiled on April 24 in Providence, RI.

General Edward L. Logan (1875-1939), namesake of Boston’s Logan International Airport , died on July 6 1939 from a sudden 'heart ailment.'  His brother, Reverend Leo J. An event honoring the recipients was held on Monday, December 16, 2024 at the Metropolitan Club near Central Park.
