Connecticut Governor Dannel P. Malloy Receives John F. Kennedy Profiles in Courage Award



Connecticut Governor Dannel P. Malloy is being honored by Jack Schlossberg, President Kennedy’s grandson, as the 2016 recipient of the John F. Kennedy Profile in Courage Award™.   The ceremony is taking place on Sunday, May 1, 2016 at the John F. Kennedy Library

View the Profiles in Courage Award live, beginning at 11:00 a.m. 


Amid security concerns following the November 2015 terrorist attacks in Paris, Malloy courageously defended the U.S. resettlement of Syrian refugees and personally welcomed a family of Syrian refugees to New Haven after they had been turned away by another state.
