Patriots Player Brandon King & Bands from Boston to Glasgow are Marching in Cape Cod Patrick's Parade on March 4



The 12th annual Cape Cod Patrick's Parade is taking place on Saturday, March 4, 2017, featuring Grand Marshall Brandon King, defensive back of the Super Bowl Champions New England Patriots.

Also in the parade is the James Connolly Flute Band from Glasgow, Scotland.  The 60 member band is makng its first appearance at the parade, according to parade committee co-chairman John Fallon.

The popular Boston Police Gaelic Column of Pipes & Drums is also participating in this year's parade.

The parade begins at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 4, at Route 28 and Long Pond Drive in South Yarmouth, and continues west for about two miles, to the intersection of Route 28 andHiggins Crowell Road in West Yarmouth.  Here is a map of the parade route.

Parade organizers have arranged for trolleys to run the length of the parade so viewers can easily get to their cars or to their next destination.  And Operation Safe Ride Home, a partnership of Yarmouth Police and Town Taxi, is offering free taxi rides home between 7:00 p.m. and 1:00 a.m.   For a free taxi ride between 7 p.m. and 1 a.m., call Town Taxi at 508-775-5555.
