Dance Master Kevin Doyle Teaching Irish Step Dance Course at Blackstone River Theatre



Acclaimed Irish-American dancer Kevin Doyle is teaching a six-week course on adult Irish step dancing at the Blackstone River Theatre on Wednesdays from April 10 through May 22, 2019.  The tuition is $90 for the course, which runs from 6:30 to 6:30 p.m.

The course explores close-to-the-ground rhythms of beginner adults Irish step dance and steps of the jigs and reels from Co. Roscommon. The class is designed to be low impact and lots of fun. Comfortable, loose clothing recommended. No special shoes required. 

A National Endowment for the Arts National Heritage Fellow, Kevin is a  lifelong dancer and performer, Kevin was a U.S. Champion Irish step dancer in his early competitive years, and has been entertaining audiences ever since on A Celtic Sojourn & more.
