27th Glasgow Lands Scottish Festival Takes Place on Saturday, July 16 in Florence, MA

The 27th celebration of  Glasgow Lands Scottish Festival takes place on Saturday, July 16, 2022 in Florence, a village in Northampton, MA.  Located in Look Park, the festival runs from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and includes free park.    Purchase tickets here

This year's festival features some of the top names in Celtic music, including Albannach, Enter the Haggis, House of Hamill and Sarah the Fiddler.  Here is full schedule of entertainment.

The annual gathering of the Clans features prominent family names in Scottish history, from the Campbells and MacIntyres to the Stewarts and MacFarlanes.   See full list of clan families.

In addition, the festival features a number of competitions in Highland Dancing, Pipe Bands and Solo Piping and Drum Major and Snare Drumming.

Heavy Hammer Throw

In athletics, this year's competitions include Braemer Stone, Open Stone, Light Weight for Distance, Heavy Hammer, Caber Toss and Weight over Bar. 

As always, the festival includes children's activities,  including the rope pull, face painting, caber toss, Haggis toss and sack race.  Also, a wide array of food and merchant vendors, plus a Celtic Pub, which is open until 9:30 p.m. with Celtic entertainment.
